WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched at dawn Monday a campaign of raids and arrests across the West Bank, leading to the eruption of confrontations.
In Salfit, the IOF carried out a campaign of raids and extensive field investigations in the towns of Kifel Haris and Deir Istiya.
Local sources reported that the IOF stormed the town of Kifel Haris, raided citizens’ homes, detained about 25 citizens and conducted a field investigation with them after turning one of the homes into an interrogation center.
The IOF stormed Deir Istiya town and interrogated six citizens, including three brothers: Jihad, Amjad, and Abdurrahman Abdullah, before they had been all released later, the sources added.
IOF soldiers have been lately escalating military campaigns in Salfit governorate, targeting Palestinian homes, assaulting the residents, and vandalizing their property.
In Qalqilya, the IOF arrested on Monday a Palestinian man in his thirties, called Waqas Nofal, after raiding and searching his house.
