Jewish settlers torch homes and cars in Nablus

NABLUS  (Palestine Foundation Information Center)  Extremist Jewish settlers set Palestinian homes and cars ablaze during dawn and morning attacks in the east and south of Nablus province in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday.

According to local sources, settlers infiltrated at dawn into the western area of Beit Furik town in eastern Nablus and burned an inhabited house and another one under construction belonging to citizens from the family of Hanani.

Other sources said that civil defense and firefighting crews controlled three fires set by settlers in Beit Furik, which targeted a house, a grocery store and one vehicle.

Settlers from the illegal settlement of Itamar launched attacks on Palestinian citizens and property in Beit Furik town and other nearby towns several times before.

In southern Nablus, another group of extremist settlers torched in the morning a house and two cars in Huwara town.

Local sources said that settlers from the illegal settlement of Yitzhar infiltrated into the vicinity of Country Park in Huwara, attacked the house of Tayseer Odeh and tried to storm it.

The sources added that Odeh’s house went up in flames after the settlers smashed its windows and threw Molotov Cocktails into it.

The settlers also set two cars alight in the same neighborhood of the town.
