WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed several homes and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and at dawn Thursday.
According to local sources, the IOF raided homes and kidnaped citizens during a raid in Deir Abu Da’if town in the east of Jenin.
In Nablus, the IOF kidnaped a female university student after ransacking her family’s house in Qabalan town.
The IOF also kidnaped a father and his son from Rujeib town, two other citizens from Talfit town in the southeast of Nablus and another one from Beit Furik town in the east.
Israeli forces reportedly raided about 20 homes in an-Naqqara neighborhood in Beit Furik town, forced their residents to leave them and forcibly evacuated a livestock farm at the pretext of detonating a suspicious object.
A large number of IOF troops also stormed different neighborhoods of Nablus City and kidnaped a young man from his home in the Old City.
Meanwhile, resistance fighters opened fire at IOF vehicles and clashed with soldiers in Nablus City’s streets.
In Ramallah, the IOF kidnaped a young man from his home in al-Am’ari refugee camp, and clashed with local youths.
In Bethlehem, Israeli soldiers raided the house of Mohamed Abdul-Hadi, 28, and handed him a summons for interrogation from the Shin Bet.
Israeli forces also stormed al-Khader town in the south of Bethlehem and fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at homes and stores in the areas of al-Bawaba and the Grand Mosque.
Local sources in Bethlehem City said that the Israeli intelligence informed the family of an ex-detainee called Shahada al-Ta’mari that he would be detained after he responded to an interrogation summons delivered to him yesterday. Ta’mari had been released about 10 months ago after 11 years of detention.
In al-Khalil, the IOF raided several homes in Surif town and kidnaped one citizen.
10 other citizens were taken prisoner during an IOF raid in Beit Ummar town, north of al-Khalil, according to different media reports.
The IOF also kidnaped two brothers from the Old City of al-Khalil and one citizen from as-Samu town in the south.
