OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Jerusalem Governorate said in a report that 82 Palestinians were martyred in Jerusalem by Israeli occupation forces’ (IOF) gunfire over the past 14 months.
It added in a report on Sunday that in the period between October 7, 2023 and December 7, 2024 around 282 Palestinians were wounded by IOF shooting.
The report said that 2,000 Jerusalemites were detained while 111 others were held in house arrest in the same period. It pointed out that 402 demolitions were carried out in different areas in the governorate while 124 deportation orders were issued.
64,869 Jewish settlers broke into the Aqsa Mosque compound also in that period, the report concluded.
The Israeli occupation authorities imposed tight restrictions on Jerusalem and its inhabitants, including movement restrictions and semi-daily raids into its various neighborhoods, since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip on October 7 last year.
