GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement said on Sunday that its delegation led by Khalil al-Hayya left the Egyptian capital, Cairo, after holding a meeting with intelligence chief Hasan Rashad.
During the meeting, Hayya discussed with the Egyptian official the current efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement and form a community support committee to run the affairs of post-war Gaza.
Hamas said that the delegation highlighted the Movement’s keenness on making these efforts succeed and ending the Israeli war on the Palestinians in Gaza.
The Israeli occupation army has been carrying out a large-scale genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since a cross-border operation was carried out by the Palestinian resistance on October 7, 2023.
Recently, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants against Israeli premier Netanyahu and his former war minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
