QALQILYA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The young man, Mohammad Barahmeh, was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during their incursion into the city of Qalqilya in the West Bank on Thursday.
The Israeli civilian affairs authority informed the Palestinian Ministry of Health about the martyrdom of Mohammad Barahmeh, 25, in IOF shooting in the city of Qalqilya, and that his body has been detained.
Press sources indicated that initial reports suggest an assassination operation targeting several young men in Qalqilya after the infiltration of IOF special forces, while the IOF prevented ambulance crews from reaching the site.
A video clip showed the IOF soldiers mistreating the body of the martyr and detaining it after his assassination in Qalqilya. The soldiers were heavily deployed in the city following the infiltration of special forces amid the sound of heavy gunfire and clashes.
