WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank at dawn Friday.
In Nablus, the IOF troops stormed the family house of the ‘wanted’ Obada Rawajbeh and detained his father, mother, and brother.
The IOF also broke into Kafr Qalil village, east of Nablus.
Another Palestinian was rounded up after the IOF stormed Halhul town in al-Khalil.
Similar raids were carried out in Birzeit, north of Ramallah. However, no arrests were reported.
In Qalqilya, the IOF detained several young men after raiding Immatin town.
Over the past few years, the Israeli army has conducted regular raids in the West Bank, which have escalated with the beginning of the war on Gaza on Oct. 7, 2023. Palestinians have also been violently attacked by illegal Israeli settlers.
More than 800 Palestinians have since been killed and over 6,500 others injured by Israeli army fire in the occupied territory.
