LONDON (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Iqbal Mohamed, a member of the British Parliament, has accused the British government of complicity in the “war crimes” committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
Speaking recently to Anadolu news agency, Mohamed warned that the British government would face legal consequences for its support of Israel’s military actions.
“When these war criminals are brought to justice, I’m afraid the British government will also be indicted for being complicit,” Mohamed stated.
The MP strongly condemned the loss of civilian lives in Gaza. He referred to the situation as “genocide,” “ethnic cleansing,” and “mass murder,” criticizing the British government for its continued backing of Israel.
“How much more killing should there be before the British government stops its direct and indirect support of Israel committing war crimes?” he asked.
Mohamed called for an immediate cessation of arms support to Israel, including halting the supply of parts used to repair F-35 fighter jets, which he described as “the most common killing machine.”
The MP urged the government to move beyond rhetoric and take concrete action. He criticized the decision to ban only 30 out of 350 arms export licenses, saying that measure was insufficient to address the gravity of the situation.
“What will future generations say about those who supported these atrocities?” Mohamed questioned, appealing for accountability from British decision-makers.
