OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested student Shaden Suleiman Qaws, 27, from her family home in the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem, after confiscating her private property.
Family sources affirmed that the Israeli forces violently stormed Shaden’s home, searched and vandalized its contents, and confiscated a laptop and mobile phones before arresting her.
Shaden was taken from her home to the Qishla police center in the Old City of Jerusalem, before being moved to Ofer Prison, on charges of incitement on social media.
Shaden is a student at Birzeit University in the city of Ramallah. She was detained several days ago, and placed under house arrest for five days.
Another young man was arrested from Al-Wad Street in the Old City after being brutally assaulted and beaten.
