WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A group of settlers attacked Qusra and Burin villages, south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank, on Thursday under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.
Local sources reported that several citizens suffered from teargas inhalation after confronting the settler attacks on their homes on the outskirts of the two villages.
The settlers also burnt a vehicle in Burin belonging to citizen Adnan Izzat al-Zaben, while the Israeli forces prevented civil defense crews from putting out the fire.
In the past year, settler attacks in the West Bank have killed ten Palestinians, caused 373 fires in Palestinian areas in Nablus, Ramallah, Jenin, and Tulkarem, and resulted in 451 violations that have caused 14,212 trees—including 10,459 olive trees—to be uprooted, damaged, sabotaged, and poisoned.
