WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped a number of citizens last night and on Wednesday morning in the West Bank.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped 11 citizens during a raid in Aida refugee camp, north of Bethlehem.
The IOF also kidnaped two citizens from Bethlehem City, three from Teqoa town and two others from Khalayel al-Luz area.
Four other citizens were taken prisoners during IOF raids in Bethlehem City and Qarawat Bani Hassan town in Salfit.
In al-Khalil, Israeli forces raided homes in al-Fahs area of the city and al-Dhahiriya town and kidnaped two citizens.
The IOF also broke into and ransacked homes in the towns of Sa’ir and ash-Shuyukh, north of al-Khalil, with no reported arrests.
In Jenin, the IOF kidnaped two brothers from Misilyah town and at least six others from Jenin refugee camp.
In Ramallah, the IOF stormed the house of journalist Rula Hassanein in al-Jalazon refugee camp and detained one of her brothers for interrogation. The journalist was released last Monday in the first phase of the prisoner exchange deal between Hamas and Israel.
In Tulkarem, Israeli forces kidnaped two citizens from the city and Izbat Jarad suburb.
