WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped last night and on Thursday morning a a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in different West Bank areas.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped three young men from their homes in Nablus City and two others at the checkpoints of Awarta and Beit Furik towns.
In Qalqilya, the IOF kidnaped Sheikh Mujahed Nofal from his home in the city a few days after his release from an Israeli jail.
Three other citizens were also kidnaped during the same IOF raid in Qalqilya City.
In al-Khalil, Israeli forces stormed Beit Ummar town and kidnaped four citizens from their homes.
Two others were taken prisoners during IOF raids in Yatta City and al-Fawwar refugee camp in al-Khalil.
In Ramallah, the IOF kidnaped three citizens during raids in the towns of Silwad and Ramon and Kobar.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner Society said on Thursday that the IOF kidnaped at least 22 Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank, mainly from the provinces of al-Khalil, Nablus, Tulkarem, Ramallah and Jerusalem.
