WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped and detained dozens of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and Wednesday morning, amid clashes with local youths in some areas.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped two citizens, including a teenager, from their homes in Kafr Ein village, northwest of Ramallah, and another one from al-Masyoun neighborhood of Ramallah City.
The IOF also kidnaped a citizen from his apartment in Umm ash-Sharayet neighborhood of al-Bireh City in Ramallah province.
In Qalqilya, the IOF kidnaped two young men after ransacking their homes in Azzun town.
In Tulkarem, two citizens were kidnaped by the IOF from the city’s Iktaba suburb.
In Nablus, the IOF kidnaped three young men from their homes in the towns of Madama and Surra and the village of Qusin.
Two other citizens were kidnaped during an IOF raid in the new refugee camp of Askar in Nablus City.
The IOF also stormed other areas of Nablus province and clashed with local youths in Tal village.
In al-Khalil, Israeli forces kidnaped two citizens during raids on homes in Beit Ummar town and another one from al-Karmil town.
30 other citizens were taken prisoners during an IOF raid on the southern area of al-Khalil City, mainly from the neighborhood of Diwan Abu Sneineh.
Local sources said that the IOF raided dozens of homes in and around the neighborhood of Diwan Abu Sneineh and detained and interrogated scores of citizens, without stating if they were released later.
Israeli soldiers also assaulted a number of young men near the Sufya venue in Umm al-Daliya area in the southern area of al-Khalil and stormed the house of Taha family.
