TUBAS (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Three Palestinian resistance fighters were martyred on Wednesday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) encircled a house and clashed with them in al-Fari’ah refugee camp in southern Tubas, north of the West Bank.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that Israeli forces encircled the house of a young man called Yousef al-Tayeh and clashed with resistance fighters inside it.
The PIC reporter added that the IOF attacked the house with projectiles and killed the fighters who were inside before bundling their bodies into their vehicles and leaving the area.
Resistance fighters in the camp reportedly detonated explosive devices at IOF vehicles and clashed with Israeli soldiers.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades said that its fighters clashed with Israeli forces in Fari’ah camp, especially near the besieged house.
For its part, the Hamas Movement mourned the three martyrs in Tubas, saying they died during clashes with Israeli forces and after they refused to surrender.
Hamas stressed that Israel’s assassination of resistance fighters in the West Bank would only increase the Palestinian people’s determination to uphold the path of struggle and resistance until the liberation of their land from the occupation.
Hamas condemned the Palestinian Authority’s security forces for their persistence in their security cooperation with the Israeli occupation, accusing them of arresting a number of resistance fighters in Tubas and assaulting one of them recently.
