The Month of Ramadan Campaign Kicked off in Support of Palestine

Karachi (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The patronage members of the Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF), while holding a press conference at the Karachi Press Club on Thursday, said that the PLF Pakistan will run a special campaign titled “Palestine Month” across the country in solidarity with the Palestinian people during the Holy month of Ramadan. During this campaign, along with highlighting the Palestinian issue across the country, relief activities will be encouraged to deal with the Israeli disasters in Palestine and Lebanon.

They said that solidarity conferences for Palestine, protest demonstrations and rallies will be held across the country, while an advertising campaign will also be launched.

They appealed to the people to actively participate in the month of Ramadan, the month of Palestine campaign, and not to refrain from financial, moral, political and religious cooperation to help the Palestinians.

The leaders demanded from the government of Pakistan that the last Friday of the month of Ramadan, which will be observed as International Quds Day all over the world, be declared an official commemoration throughout Pakistan and that full proof of their solidarity with the Palestinian people be given.

Addressing a press conference held at Karachi Press Club, members of the Palestine Foundation Pakistan’s Patronage Committee, including Jamaat-e-Islami Deputy Ameer Muslim Pervez, Former member of Sindh Assembly Mahfouz Yar Khan Advocate, Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan President Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Pir Azhar Ali Shah Hamdani, Kashmiri leader Bashir Saduzai, businessman Saqib Noshahi and PLF Pakistan Secretary General Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam said that the resistance movements in Gaza and Lebanon have shattered the illusion of global imperialism.

They said that Hamas is the chosen party of the Palestinians and no power in the world can separate the people of Gaza from Hamas.

They termed the US President’s plan for Gaza as illogical and tantamount to political genocide. They said that the attitude of Arab governments towards implementing the US President’s plan is shameful. They appealed to the people to continue boycotting all companies of European countries including the US and Israel that are helping Israel and the US in the genocide in Gaza and Lebanon.

The senior leaders of the Palestine Foundation Pakistan, while giving details of the programs for the month of Ramadan, said that banners will be displayed across the country in support of Palestine and a Grand Palestine Conference will be held in a local hall in Karachi on March 5, while on March 9, the Third International Palestine Conference will be held in Karachi by inviting ambassadors and intellectuals from different countries, while at the same time, a Palestine Conference will be held in Quetta.

A Palestine Solidarity Conference will be held in Islamabad on March 15 during the second week of Ramadan, while a Palestine Solidarity Conference will also be held in Lahore on March 18.

International Quds Day will be observed across the country on last Friday of Ramadan, and under this title, the American and Israeli atrocities being inflicted on the Palestinian people will be exposed through photo exhibitions.
