NABLUS (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A special Israeli occupation force assassinated a Palestinian resistance fighter and arrested another one after besieging a house in Balata refugee camp east of Nablus on Thursday, while two others were injured by Israeli live bullets, whereas an elderly man was beaten, amid armed clashes.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that it was informed by the General Authority for Civil Affairs of the martyrdom of the young man Mahmoud Sanaqra, 25, by Israeli gunfire in Balata camp.
Local sources reported that a special Israeli force stormed Balata camp and besieged a house in the Maghdousha neighborhood, followed by military reinforcements, then assassinated a young man and detained his body.
The sources explained that the martyr Sanaqra is the brother of the two martyrs Ahmed and Ibrahim Sanaqra, who were martyred a few years ago.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its crews transported three people to the hospital, after they had been shot or beaten at the hands of Israeli forces during their storming of Balata camp, including a young man, 32, who was shot in the thigh with live bullets, a child shot in the hand and abdomen with live bullets, and an elderly man, 68, who was beaten severely.
The Israeli occupation forces also arrested the young man, Rayan Jamal Rayan, before withdrawing from the camp, which witnessed armed clashes with resistance fighters and the detonation of an explosive device in Israeli occupation vehicles.
