WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Several Palestinians were injured in an Israeli military raid into al-Khalil and Jerusalem, including a journalist, on Wednesday evening.
A young man was shot by live fire in his lower limbs and hand, while dozens of others suffered from tear gas inhalation problems after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the Al-Arroub refugee camp north of al-Khalil amid heavy fire of teargas bombs.
In Occupied Jerusalem, the Israeli forces brutally attacked a group of journalists after breaking into Rafat town, injuring one of them.
During the attack, the journalist Yousef Shehadeh sustained head injuries while fleeing the scene. He was later transferred to the hospital for treatment.
The attack came shortly after the journalists covered the Israeli demolition of a house belonging to prisoner Hayel Issa Daif Allah.
Since the start of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the IOF and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, killing 930 Palestinians and injuring nearly 7,000 others. 14,500 Palestinians were also arrested during the same reported period.
