QALQILYA(Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detonated at dawn Wednesday a house belonging to the family of martyr Ali Abu Khalil in the West Bank city of Qalqilya.
Martyr Abu Khalil, a resistance fighter from al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, carried out last year an operation along with another fighter on Road 22 in Qalqilya City that killed a Jewish settler.
Abu Khalil was killed along with eight others in Israeli drone attacks in the occupied West Bank last year. According to the Hebrew media, the Israeli army accuses Abu Khalil of shooting and killing a settler in Qalqilya in June of last year.
The Israeli occupation authority regularly demolishes the family homes of Palestinians accused of carrying out attacks on Israelis in what human rights groups say is a policy of “collective punishment that amounts to war crimes.”
