WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation army’s violent and destructive operations in the northern West Bank entered day 47 in Tulkarem City and its refugee camp and day 34 in Nur Shams refugee camp on Saturday.
Since they started, these operations have been marked by almost daily arrests, raids on homes, destruction of public and private property, and forced displacement of citizens.
Dozens of people have also been killed and injured during the Israeli operations in the northern West Bank.
According to local media sources, the Israeli army dispatched more reinforcements to Tulkarem City, and the refugee camps of Tulkarem and Nur Shams during the past hours, where a destruction and displacement campaign has been ongoing for several weeks.
In Jenin, the Israeli military operation has turned Jenin refugee camp into a ghost town, leaving devastation reminiscent of the war-torn Gaza Strip.
As of today, March 15, 2025, the West Bank has been enduring the relentless impacts of Israel’s military operations in the Jenin area. Saturday marks the 54th day of Israeli airstrikes, ground assaults, and incursions into Jenin City and its adjacent refugee camp. This prolonged campaign has left a trail of destruction, suffering, and humanitarian crises in its wake.
Two weeks after the military operation began, Jenin camp is largely deserted. Thousands of Palestinians have left their homes, taking only what they could carry, after the Israeli army ordered them to leave through drones equipped with loudspeakers.
As the Israeli attacks continue in the northern West Bank, the humanitarian situation grows increasingly dire. The loss of homes and critical infrastructure has left many without access to basic needs such as food, water, and healthcare.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation regime demolished 10 mosques across the West Bank, including east Jerusalem, over the past week.
