RAMALLAH (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian young man was injured by Israeli forces on Monday evening in Shuqba village, west of Ramallah, while several others suffered from tear gas inhalation during clashes in Nablus.
According to local sources, Israeli forces raided Shuqba and stormed a house, where snipers took up positions on the roof. They opened fire with live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets at residents, injuring a young man in the leg. He was subsequently transferred to receive medical treatment.
In a related incident, several civilians suffered from tear gas inhalation during confrontations that erupted after Israeli forces stormed the town of Beita, south of Nablus.
Local sources reported that the Israeli forces forced their way into the town from multiple directions and heavily fired stun grenades and toxic tear gas at residents, sparking clashes in several areas. Medics treated the affected individuals on the ground.
Beita has been subjected to repeated assaults by Israeli forces and settlers as part of a systematic policy of pressure and harassment against its residents.
