SALFIT (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian woman was martyred on Tuesday morning when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at her near the illegal settlement of Ariel in the northern West Bank.
According to media sources, Israeli soldiers fatally shot a Palestinian young woman during her presence at the junction of Haris in western Salfit, where the entrance of Ariel settlement is located.
Footage showed a woman lying on the ground, surrounded by a group of soldiers. Her body was reportedly seized by the IOF.
The Israeli army justified the killing of the woman by claiming she was throwing stones at Israeli cars in the area. The martyr was identified as 30-year-old Amana Ibrahim Mohamed Yaqub.
