TULKAREM (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Israeli occupation forces (IOF) forced a Palestinian family to evacuate their houses located along the apartheid wall, west of Zita town, north of Tulkarem on Thursday.
Local sources said that IOF raided the houses of the Abu al-Ezz family and forced them to leave within half an hour, without providing any justification.
Seven houses belonging to the Abu Al-Ezz family were evacuated, forcing them to move to their relatives’ houses inside the town, the sources explained.
The sources further explained that this is not the first time in which this family has been subjected to such a measure, as the IOF deliberately carries out incursions and evictions during Jewish holidays and occasions, without any regard for the presence of children, women and the elderly.
The sources pointed out that this time the eviction process affected a larger number of houses, which raises concerns over the occupation’s intention to impose a fait accompli in the area adjacent to the wall.
The IOF aggression on the northern West Bank comes as part of the Israeli annexation plan which aims at annexing the West Bank and declaring sovereignty over it, which would represent an official declaration of the death of the two-state solution.
