WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped last night and on Wednesday morning several Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped 16 citizens, including a woman, from their homes in Kobar village, north of Ramallah.
The IOF also detained dozens of young men and interrogated them inside the house of ex-detainee Nael al-Barghouthi before releasing them.
Two other citizens were taken prisoners during IOF raids in Silwad town, northeast of Ramallah.
Another one was kidnaped following an IOF raid in al-Mazra’a ash-Sharqiya town, northeast of Ramallah.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli policemen raided several homes in Issawiya district and kidnaped one young man.
In Nablus, Israeli forces kidnaped two young men after ransacking their homes in Beit Furik town.
Meanwhile, the IOF intensified its military measures at checkpoints around Nablus City and at the Hamra checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley, restricting the movement of Palestinian citizens and vehicles.
In Bethlehem, the IOF kidnaped one citizen during a raid in Nahalin town and a number of kids and young men after interrogating them in al-Khader town.
The IOF also closed the main entrance of Marah Rabah village and set up a makeshift checkpoint at the entrance of al-Manshiya village in Bethlehem province.
The IOF stormed other areas of the West Bank, with no reported arrests.
