RAMALLAH (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Several Palestinian citizens were injured and three agricultural structures were set ablaze when a horde of armed Jewish settlers attacked Sinjil town, north of Ramallah, on Wednesday afternoon.
According to local sources, eight citizens suffered injuries, including one with a bullet injury in his head, after armed settlers aboard cars stormed Sinjil town and attacked local residents and their property.
The sources added that the settlers set fire to three agricultural structures in the town.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers prevented Palestinian fire trucks from entering the town to extinguish the fires. Ambulances were also denied entry to the town to evacuate the wounded.
The Sinjil village council urged the local residents to head to the targeted area of al-Tal, where the settler attack happened, to help their compatriots defend themselves and their property.
Last Monday, armed settlers had attacked the same area under military protection. One local resident was killed and others were injured in that attack. They also burned agricultural facilities and stole dozens of sheep.
