GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) At least 18 Palestinians were killed on Thursday evening following an Israeli airstrike on a residential home sheltering displaced families in Jabalia town, northern Gaza.
Bodies of the 18 victims and several wounded were brought to the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza after Israeli warplanes bombed the residential building.
Since the early hours of the day, Jabalia has been under intense and continuous bombardment, resulting in numerous casualties. Among the targets were a police station located in the middle of Jabalia’s main market and a densely populated area housing displaced civilians.
The attacks come amid the total collapse of Gaza’s health system and deteriorating emergency and civil defense services.
A total of 52 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza since dawn, 39 of whom were from Gaza City and the northern part of the Strip.
