9 Palestinians killed in two Israeli drone strikes in Nuseirat camp

GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) At least nine Palestinians were killed and many others wounded on Monday following two Israeli drone strikes targeting the Tabbat al-Nuweiri area and the vicinity of Al-Nouri Tower, west of Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

Local sources reported that the first strike targeted a motorized rickshaw (tuk-tuk) near Tabbat al-Nuweiri in the Al-Hassaina area, while the second strike hit a civilian vehicle close to Al-Nouri Tower within the camp.

Al-Awda Hospital confirmed receiving the remains of several martyrs, alongside 21 injuries, overwhelming the hospital’s emergency and reception departments due to the severity of the bombardments.

The strikes form part of a broader escalation that has seen 51 Palestinians killed across Gaza since dawn on Monday.

The Israeli occupation forces continue to perpetrate acts of genocide and enforced starvation against civilians in the Gaza Strip for the 49th consecutive day, alongside a complete blockade, shutting all crossings and preventing the entry of medicine, humanitarian aid, and food supplies.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the overall death toll from Israel’s ongoing military aggression on Gaza since 7 October 2023 has now risen to 52,567 martyrs, with an additional 118,610 wounded.

Since 18 March 2025 — when Israel breached the ceasefire agreement and resumed its genocidal assault — a total of 2,459 Palestinians have been killed, with 6,569 others injured.
