GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Gaza’s Government Media Office (GMO) has unequivocally rejected an Israeli plan to establish “forced isolation camps” in the Gaza Strip resembling “Nazi ghettos,” calling it “part of the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the population.”
“For the past 19 months, Gaza has endured systematic genocidal crimes, with Israeli attacks leading to over 180,000 casualties, including martyrs, wounded, and missing persons,” GMO said in a statement on Thursday.
“The prolonged closure of Gaza’s border crossings, now lasting 70 days, has severely deepened the humanitarian crisis by blocking the entry of essential supplies and humanitarian aid, putting the lives of over 2.4 million Palestinians at grave risk,” GMO added.
“The Israeli occupation is deliberately using humanitarian aid as a tool for blockade and starvation, which constitutes a blatant violation of international law,” GMO said.
GMO appealed to governments and international organizations to shoulder their humanitarian and legal responsibilities towards Gaza.
It also urged the Arab and Islamic countries to take immediate action to save the people of Gaza and put an end to Israel’s war crimes.
