GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center)The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has warned that Israel is working on forcing Palestinians in Gaza to gather in a narrowed area along the southern coast, setting the stage for their mass relocation from the territory under a plan previously announced by US president Donald Trump.
In a report on Friday, Euro-Med said that the Israeli army had issued, since the beginning of 2025, at least 35 displacement orders in Gaza, affecting more than one million people.
Euro-Med described the ongoing displacement campaign as “the most dangerous since Israel started its genocidal war in Gaza.”
Euro-Med also accused Israel of starving the population and systematically destroying their remaining homes and infrastructure as part of its current efforts to displace them from Gaza.
“Israel is determined to restrict the presence of Palestinians in Gaza to a narrow coastal strip as a prelude to expelling and displacing them from their homeland under Trump’s plan,” Euro-Med said.
Euro-Med called on all countries to urgently take action by any means necessary to stop Israel’s genocide and forced displacement campaign in Gaza, including steps to freeze the financial assets of Israeli officials involved in war crimes and ban their travel.
Euro-Med also called for international action to impose economic, diplomatic and military sanctions on Israel due to its systematic and severe violations of the international law in Gaza.
Euro-Med urged countries with universal jurisdiction laws to issue arrest warrants against Israeli officials involved in the genocide in Gaza and to initiate legal proceedings against them.
