Israeli police kidnap Palestinian after assaulting him in J’lem

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Israeli police forces kidnaped on Monday a Palestinian young man after assaulting him at the main entrance of Anata town, northeast of Occupied Jerusalem.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center said that police officers severely beat a young man after stopping him at the town’s entrance, adding that they kept kicking him all over his body, especially his head and back, before blindfolding him and taking him to a detention center.

Meanwhile, the Israeli police set up a checkpoint at the rotary of Ras al-Amud neighborhood in the east Jerusalem district of Silwan, where they embarked on stopping cars for security checks.

Another police checkpoint was also set up at the western entrance of Issawiya district, northeast of Jerusalem.

In a separate incident, a Palestinian man suffered a bullet injury after Israeli police forces stormed al-Ram town, north of Jerusalem.

Israeli forces reportedly opened fire at a 35-year-old man near the separation wall in al-Ram town, injuring him in his leg.
