Three Palestinians injured, others kidnaped in Israeli attacks in W. Bank

WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Three Palestinians were injured and others were kidnaped in Israeli military and settler attacks in different areas of the occupied West Bank last night and on Wednesday morning.

According to the Palestinian health ministry, a citizen identified as 43-year-old Issam Rabai’ah suffered serious bullet injuries after Israeli forces opened fire at him near Faqqu’ah town in Jenin.

Rabai’ah was reportedly trying to reach his workplace in 1948 occupied Palestine through the separation wall near Faqqu’ah town.

The Red Crescent also said its paramedics transported a wounded young man in his 40s to the hospital after Israeli soldiers severely beat him in an area of the northern West Bank.

In Nablus, the IOF stormed the new Askar refugee camp, for the second consecutive day, and took over the headquarters of the camp’s Popular Services Committee and other community centers.

Eyewitnesses said the IOF hoisted Israeli flags over the buildings they seized in the camp.

In Jenin City, the IOF kidnaped a citizen and continued to carry out its large-scale demolition campaign.

Israeli forces also stormed Burqin town in western Jenin, spread in its streets, raided homes, and interrogated local young men, amid sounds of gunfire.

In Salfit, the IOF set up a road barrier on the main road between Kifl Hares town and Hares village, obstructing the movement of local residents.

In the central West Bank, the Israeli army took over a house in the north of Ramallah City and turned it into a military post. Its forces also stormed Rantis village, northwest of the city.

In Bethlehem, the IOF kidnaped a 49-year-old woman from her home in Husan village a few hours after releasing her.

The IOF also kidnaped nine citizens from al-Khalil City and ad-Dhahiriya town, amid intensive presence of Israeli forces in their streets.

In other incidents, a horde of extremist Jewish settlers attacked a citizen called Amran an-Nawaja, a resident of Susya village in southern al-Khalil, and injured him in his head. He was transferred to the Yatta Hospital for medical assistance.

In Ramallah, another group of settlers escorted by soldiers reportedly opened fire at Palestinian citizens, but luckily no one was hurt.
