BEIRUT (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation army announced on Thursday morning that it had assassinated yesterday Yassin Izzuddin, Hezbollah’s Litani-sector artillery commander, in a strike near the Barish area in southern Lebanon’s Tyre district.
During the war, Izzuddin directed numerous artillery attacks on northern Israel, according to the Israeli army.
He also worked to rebuild Hezbollah’s artillery capabilities, the Israeli army added.
Last Friday, Hezbollah condemned Israel’s strikes on Iran, saying that Israel had “crossed all the red lines.” However, the Lebanese resistance group did not issue any threat or indication that it intended to take military action.
