WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) obstructed the movement of residents in the eastern areas of Qalqilya, raiding the town of Azzun and carrying out home invasions.
According to local sources, the IOF closed the entrances of the villages of Kafr Laqif and Imatin—located east of Qalqilya—using an iron gate, hindering the movement of residents.
In the same context, the IOF stormed the town of Azzun early this morning from its main northern entrance. They deployed in the Al-Muntar and Al-Muthallath neighborhoods and raided several homes.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces also closed a street in the Al-Safha neighborhood and the vicinity of the Kamal building, erecting a military checkpoint that prevented residents from moving freely. Everyone in the area was stopped and subjected to searches before the forces withdrew after a three-hour-long incursion.
Additionally, Israeli forces stormed the city of Qalqilya shortly after midnight through the eastern entrance, deploying in Wadi Street and the market area. No home raids or arrests were reported during the raid.
