GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Abu Obeida, spokesman for al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, has described the complex Beit Hanoun operation as “another blow dealt by our fearless fighters to the weak occupation army and its most barbaric units.”
“The ongoing battle of attrition waged by our fighters against the enemy — from northern to southern Gaza — will continue to inflict daily losses on its forces,” Abu Obeida said in a statement on his official Telegram channel on Tuesday.
“Although the enemy recently miraculously managed to rescue its soldiers from hell, it may fail to do so later, resulting in more prisoners falling into our hands,” Abu Obeida added.
“The steadfastness of our people and the bravery of their courageous resistance fighters are the sole factors shaping the equations on the ground and defining the contours of the upcoming phase,” the spokesman underscored.
“The most foolish decision Netanyahu could make would be to keep his forces inside the Gaza Strip,” he said.
Five Israeli soldiers were killed and 14 others wounded on Monday night in a successful ambush that involved the detonation of an explosive device in the Beit Hanoun area of the northern Gaza Strip.
