Israeli drone strike hits vehicle in southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, (Palestine Foundation Information Center) An Israeli drone struck a vehicle in the southern Lebanese town of Kafr Kila on Friday morning, in a continuation of Israeli attacks that have defied the current ceasefire agreement.

According to Lebanese sources, the drone dropped two bombs on the targeted vehicle, completely destroying it. No injuries were reported.

The strike comes just one day after an Israeli attack on a motorcycle at the Mansouri junction in Qassa, south of Tyre, killed one Lebanese citizen and wounded another, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

These incidents are part of a growing list of Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement that took effect on November 27, 2024. Since then, Israeli forces have committed thousands of violations, resulting in at least 216 martyrs and over 500 wounded across southern Lebanon.

Despite international calls for de-escalation, Israeli attacks have persisted, raising fears of a broader regional conflict and further undermining the fragile truce along the Lebanese border.
