GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Doctors Without Borders has warned that there is an urgent need to evacuate 12,000 people from the Gaza Strip to receive essential medical care.
In press statements on Monday, the organization called for the establishment of a clear medical evacuation system that guarantees Palestinians the right to return to Gaza after treatment.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has been committing genocide in Gaza, involving killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.
The ongoing genocide has resulted in more than 195,000 people killed and wounded, most of them women and children; over 11,000 missing; hundreds of thousands displaced; famine that has claimed many lives, including children; and widespread destruction.
