At least 12 massacred in Israeli attacks on Gaza’s ash-Shati refugee camp

GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center) At least 12 Palestinians were massacred following two Israeli airstrikes on Tuesday afternoon in Gaza City’s as-Shati refugee camp.

According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza, an Israeli drone struck a crowded area west of the ash-Shati market, causing numerous casualties. Later, Israeli warplanes targeted an apartment in the al-Haramain building on Eidya street, south of the ash-Shati camp.

Medical sources reported that nine people were killed and more than 20 injured in the first strike, while three others were martyred and several wounded in the attack on the apartment. Among the victims of the first strike were five children and three young men, with some of the injured in critical condition.

54 civilians have been killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip since early Tuesday, including 42 in Gaza City alone, according to medical sources.
