British-French-German statement: Time to end the war in Gaza

GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A joint statement from the United Kingdom, France, and Germany affirmed that the time has come to end the war in Gaza and that the humanitarian catastrophe unfolding there must stop immediately.

The statement strongly opposed efforts aimed at imposing Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territories.

It called on Israel to fulfill its obligations under international humanitarian law, urging Israel to immediately allow the United Nations and non-governmental organizations to carry out their work in Gaza.

The joint statement also affirmed readiness to take further measures to support an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

It called for efforts to establish a specific and credible plan for the next phase in Gaza.
