WEST BANK,(Palestine Foundation Information Center) A group of Jewish settlers cut down dozens of olive trees in the town of Jurish, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank on Friday evening.
Local sources reported that the settlers cut down dozens of olive trees in the “Wa’ar Jama” area of Jurish, on land owned by citizen Ali Farhan.
The sources also noted that settlers stole water tanks from the “Wadi Haj Issa” area in Jurish.
The Palestine Information Center (Ma’ta) documented 6,351 violations committed by the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank and Jerusalem over the past month.
According to Ma’ta, 163 settlement activities were recorded, including land confiscation and bulldozing, construction of new settlement roads, and approval of additional settlement units. Meanwhile, settlers carried out 315 attacks against Palestinian civilians and their property.
