BEIRUT,(Palestine Foundation Information Center) An Israeli aerial attack killed one person on Saturday in southern Lebanon’s Tyre district, according to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA).
NNA reported that the fatality occurred after an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle traveling on at-Tuwairi road in Tyre.
NNA said that Israeli drones flew at low altitude over different areas of Tyre and near Litani River.
The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
On Friday, the Lebanese health ministry’s public health emergency operations center, reported that one person was killed in an Israeli strike on a vehicle in Baraachit town in the Bint Jbeil district.
Separately, NNA said yesterday that Bassam Suweid, a member of the municipal council of the southwestern village of al-Dhahira, was transported to the Italian Lebanese Hospital in the Tyre district after being shot twice by Israeli forces. He is reportedly in serious condition.
