WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Senior Hamas official Abdul-Rahman Shadeed has condemned the escalating terrorist attacks carried out by Jewish settlers in the West Bank, highlighting the recent incident in the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, which resulted in the killing of a civilian inside his home.
In a statement on Thursday, Shadeed said that the daily settler attacks in the West Bank “reflect the true nature of the fascist Israeli occupation that knows nothing but killing and destruction.”
Shadeed mourned Khamis Ayyad, who was killed last night during an attack on Silwad town by settlers and soldiers.
“The daily crimes that are committed by settlers will not undermine the Palestinian people’s steadfastness and resilience on their land, while all the criminal occupation government’s attempts to displace our people and annex their land will remain mere illusions,” the Hamas official said.
He affirmed that the Israeli occupation’s ongoing attacks across the West Bank would only deepen its panic and failure, stressing that the resistance option in the West Bank remains unshaken despite all acts of Israeli brutality and terrorism.
