Two Palestinian sisters wounded by IOF gunfire in Jenin

JENIN,(Palestine Foundation Information Center)  Two young Palestinian sisters suffered bullet injuries on Sunday afternoon after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at them in Jenin City, north of the West Bank.

The Red Crescent said that its paramedics provided first aid for two sisters aged 12 and 16, who suffered bullet injuries in their legs in Jenin City’s al-Jaberiyat area, before transporting them to Jenin Hospital.

Local sources said that Israeli forces fired live bullets at two young girls as they were walking to their home in al-Jaberiyat area.

Since last January 21, the IOF has been carrying out an aggressive operation in Jenin City and its refugee camp. In recent days, there has been a series of raids and attacks targeting civilians and their property.
