SALFIT,(Palestine Foundation Information Center) Several Palestinians were injured on Tuesday evening in a settler attack on the western area of Deir Ballut, west of Salfit in the northern occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported that the attack occurred near the apartheid wall erected on Palestinian lands west of Deir Ballut.
According to the sources, the settlers attacked the residents and sprayed them with burning pepper spray, causing facial and eye burns. The injured were treated on-site.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation, with US backing, has been committing genocide in Gaza involving mass killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, in defiance of all international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt these crimes.
The genocide has resulted in over 210,000 Palestinians killed or injured, the majority of them women and children, in addition to more than 9,000 missing persons, hundreds of thousands displaced, and a famine that has claimed countless lives.
