SANA’A, (The Palestinian Information Center)Yemen’s armed forces announced that they carried out a military operation on Saturday, using a “Palestine 2” hypersonic ballistic missile with a cluster warhead, against several sensitive sites in the occupied Jaffa area.
Military spokesman Yehya Sariee said in a televised statement that the operation successfully achieved its objectives and forced Israelis into shelters.
Sariee said the missile strike was in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance and in response to the Israeli crimes of genocide and starvation in Gaza.
The spokesman also said the operation was carried out in response to the Israeli aggression against Yemen.
Meanwhile, the Hebrew media claimed the missile was intercepted, adding that the attack triggered sirens at around 3:45 a.m. in Tel Aviv and a large number of towns and communities in central Israel.
The armed forces in northern Yemen have carried out drone and missile counterattacks on the Israeli occupation state since November 2023 in support of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
They say their repeated missile and drone counterattacks on Israeli targets are aimed to pressure the Israeli occupation government to end its genocidal war on Gaza and lift its siege on the population.
