GAZA, (The Palestinian Information Center) The Hamas Movement stated that the airstrike carried out by the Israeli occupation forces this evening, which targeted civilians near Al-Shifa Hospital as they were evacuating from Gaza City and resulted in the killing of at least 15 people, constitutes a “full-fledged war crime.”
In a press release issued on Wednesday evening, Hamas said this massacre “exposes the barbarity of the Israeli entity, which hunts civilians even during moments of displacement,” describing it as part of “a systematic policy of genocide being carried out against the Palestinian people for nearly two years in full view of the world.”
Hamas noted that “this massacre, along with the daily crimes committed across various parts of the Gaza Strip, comes less than 24 hours after a UN report documented Israel’s commission of genocide against Palestinians.” The Movement described the attack as a “blatant challenge and deep contempt for the international community, and a grave violation of international laws and treaties.”
Hamas called on Arab and Islamic nations, as well as the broader international community, to “urgently and seriously act to stop these crimes,” and demanded that the Israeli leaders be held accountable before the International Criminal Court to ensure they do not escape justice.
Earlier in the evening, Israeli forces committed a horrific massacre against a displaced family at the entrance of Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, killing at least 13 people and injuring others.
Local sources confirmed that Israeli warplanes targeted a civilian vehicle carrying members of one family as they were attempting to flee south, leading to the killing of several individuals.
