GAZA, (The Palestinian Information Center) Journalist Mohammad Al-Sawalhi was killed on Wednesday evening following an Israeli airstrike near the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in western Gaza City.
Israeli warplanes had targeted civilians as they fled from Gaza City toward the southern part of the Strip, specifically in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Medical Complex. The attack resulted in the killing of more than 10 civilians and left several others injured.
With the death of journalist Al-Sawalhi, the total number of journalists killed since the beginning of the Israeli assault on Gaza has risen to 250. This reflects a pattern of direct targeting of Palestinian media personnel amid total international silence regarding the ongoing Israeli crimes.
