WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a large-scale raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank at dawn Friday.
In Nablus, the IOF soldiers stormed several neighborhoods and were deployed in the Old City which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
The IOF troops also broke into Beit Iba town, west of Nablus, and raided two local houses.
In Tulkarem, the IOF arrested the journalist Sami Al-Sa’i and his brother Osama after breaking into their family homes.
Another Palestinian was also rounded up in the nearby town of Faroun.
In Ramallah, a 19-year-old young man was injured as clashes erupted in the Jalazoun refugee camp after being stormed by the IOF.
Similar clashes also erupted in Salfit, where several teargas inhalation cases were reported.
Meanwhile, the IOF carried out a large-scale arrest campaign in several towns in Bethlehem. At least eight people were detained during the campaign.
Similar raids were also reported in different parts of al-Khalil.
