RAMALLAH, (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A young man was killed and several others were injured on Friday evening following a settler attack on the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that 23-year-old Saif al-Din Kamel Abdel Karim Muslat, from al-Mazraa al-Sharqiya, was killed after settlers brutally beat him in Sinjil.
At least 10 other Palestinians sustained injuries and fractures after being assaulted by settlers in Khirbet al-Tal, located on Jabal al-Batin, south of Sinjil in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate.
Activist Ayyed Ghafari reported that dozens of settlers attacked local residents who were attempting, along with international solidarity activists, to reach Khirbet al-Tal to dismantle a colonial outpost. The assault resulted in the injury of 10 Palestinians from the towns of Sinjil, al-Mazraa al-Sharqiya, Abwein, and Jiljilya, north of Ramallah.
Ghafari also noted that one settler deliberately ran over an activist with a vehicle, while others attacked two ambulances, smashing their windows.
