GAZA City, (The Palestinian Information Center) The Israeli occupation army bombed a high-rise building known as “al-Soussi Tower” in Gaza City on Saturday afternoon, reducing it to rubble.
Al-Soussi Tower was a 15-floor building in front of the UN headquarters. It is located near al-Mushtaha Tower, which was bombed yesterday.
Dozens of families, including UN employees, were living in that building. They have nowhere else to go.
A spokesperson for these families appealed to the UN, its organizations and the international community to immediately intervene to provide them and their children with shelters and urgent humanitarian needs.
The Israeli army has intensified the destruction and bombing of homes and tents in Gaza City in recent days, killing and injuring hundreds of people. It also ordered the residents to evacuate to another so-called safe zone in al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis — an overcrowded area that has already been bombed dozens of times.
