ANKARA(Palestine Foundation Information Center) Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in the Turkish capital Ankara on Wednesday and is set to meet his Turkish counterpart Recep Erdogan later tonight.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA said that Abbas arrived on a two-day official visit to Türkiye, adding that he will meet Erdogan later this evening.
It said that the Abbas-Erdogan meeting falls in line with the regular political consultations between the two friendly countries.
Abbas was received at the airport by foreign minister Hakan Fidan and a number of Turkish officials along with Arab envoys accredited to Ankara.
