CAIRO, (The Palestine Information Centre)Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in Egypt has called on the Islamic World in a press release on Wednesday to extend all kinds of support to Palestine and to reconsider its relations with the “arrogant” West.
The statement, which followed the Israeli bloodbath on Tuesday night, said that the Arab and Islamic countries should utilize their wealth and potential to support Palestine and its people.
It said that the Palestinians should remain steadfast in the face of the Israeli “brutal attacks” and never be weakened when confronting what it called “jungle animals”.
500 Palestinians were killed on Tuesday night when Israel bombed the al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza while hundreds of others were wounded. The carnage led to wide-scale condemnation and worldwide anger.
